Jury Duty Season 2 Renewed on Prime Video

“Jury Duty” has been renewed for a second season on Prime Video, much to the delight of fans. The Amazon Freevee comedy, which unexpectedly gained popularity on the platform before moving to Prime Video, has already completed filming for the upcoming season, as reported by media sources.

While Amazon representatives chose not to comment on the news, industry insiders report that the new season will take place at a corporate retreat rather than in a courtroom. The filming of Season 2 occurred in Los Angeles and is rumored to focus on a David vs. Goliath theme, according to reports from Variety.

The brainchild of creators Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, Season 1 of “Jury Duty” followed the story of standout actor Ronald Gladden in a unique documentary-style narrative, eventually revealing that the legal proceedings were not as they seemed.

The series is helmed by executive producers David Bernad, Ruben Fleischer, Nicholas Hatton, Cody Heller, Todd Schulman, Jake Szymanski, and Andrew Weinberg. Season 1 featured a talented cast including names like James Marsden, Alan Barinholtz, and Susan Berger, among others.

Fans of the show can eagerly anticipate the return of “Jury Duty” for Season 2, promising more entertainment and surprises ahead.
