Sarah Michelle Gellar to star in ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ reboot for Hulu
Hulu is working on a revival of the popular series ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ with original star Sarah Michelle Gellar on board. The new show, from writers Nora and Lilla Zuckerman, is set to be a sequel and explore the “Buffyverse” with a focus on a younger Slayer. Gellar won’t be the main character this time around.
Gellar initially wasn’t keen on a reboot but had a change of heart after a meeting with Chloé Zhao. Excited about the project, Gellar shared on social media that she’s part of a team including Nora and Lilla Zuckerman, dedicated to getting it right.
