“Dying for Sex” FX Series Premiering on Disney+ in April
A new limited series called “Dying for Sex” is set to premiere on April 4 exclusively on Disney+, featuring Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate in starring roles. The series is based on the inspiring story of Molly Kochan, which was originally shared on a Wondery podcast created with her best friend, Nikki Boyer.
The show follows Molly (played by Michelle Williams) as she navigates a diagnosis of stage IV metastatic breast cancer, leading her to make some major life changes. She decides to leave her husband, Steve (Jay Duplass), and begins to explore her sexual desires in a way she never has before.
Alongside Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate, the cast includes Rob Delaney, Kelvin Yu, David Rasche, Esco Jouléy, and Sissy Spacek, promising a talented ensemble to bring this emotional story to life.
The series, produced by 20th Television, was written and co-created by Kim Rosenstock and Elizabeth Meriwether. They also served as executive producers along with a team that includes Katherine Pope, Kathy Ciric, and several others.
