Prime Video Secures Exclusive Streaming Rights for The Chosen

Exciting news for fans of “The Chosen”! Amazon MGM Studios and Dallas Jenkins’ 5&2 Studios have teamed up to bring the first five seasons of the hit series exclusively to Prime Video. Plus, get ready for a new unscripted series called “Chosen in the Wild” featuring Bear Grylls.

In addition to the current seasons, Prime Video will also have streaming rights for upcoming releases about the crucifixion and resurrection, which are vital parts of the final two seasons of “The Chosen.” This collaboration also marks the beginning of a first-look series and film deal between Amazon and 5&2 Studios.

For those new to the show, “The Chosen” is a historical drama that offers a unique perspective on Jesus’ life and teachings in first-century Israel. Season 5 takes viewers through Holy Week, where we’ll see tables turn, friends betrayed, and powerful leaders plotting Jesus’ demise.

The latest season will premiere theatrically on March 28 before making its way to Prime Video in the U.S. this June. Fans in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America can also look forward to streaming the series later this year.
