Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller were blown away by the scale and atmosphere of the set of The Gorge. “Every day we’d go into a different world with a different fog,” Anya shared, likening it to a haunted house or Disneyland. Miles added, “Sometimes I felt like I was in a rave.”
The Gorge follows sniper operatives Drasa (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Levi (Miles Teller) who must guard towers on opposite sides of a mysterious gorge. The catch? They can’t talk to each other. As their curiosity grows, they take a risky step that leads to a dangerous journey into the depths of the chasm.
The film blends romance, action, sci-fi, and horror to create a thrilling experience for viewers. “The love story really grounds the whole piece,” Miles explained. For Levi, Drasa becomes the light in his dark world.
Both actors had to undergo intense physical training for their roles, with Anya coming off another action film. “Every day was so exciting because you knew it was going to be something completely different,” she shared.
