While many of us were excited about the prospect of having Netflix on the Apple TV app, it seems that it was short-lived. The flakiness of the integration hinted at something not quite right. The Apple TV app already offers integrations with other major streaming services like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, Max, and Peacock, but Netflix has been notably absent until this bug occurred.
It’s a shame that the Netflix integration on the Apple TV app was just a glitch and has now been rolled back. For those of us who subscribe to Netflix, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see if one day we can seamlessly connect it to our Apple TV viewing experience.
