Muslim Matchmaker: New Dating Series Now Available for Streaming on Hulu
A new dating series called “Muslim Matchmaker” is now available for streaming on Hulu. The show follows Muslim American singles as they search for their lifelong partners with the help of matchmakers Hoda Abrahim and Yasmin Elhady.
In each episode, viewers can watch as the matchmakers navigate cringey first dates and moments of real connection, all while staying true to their faith. Abrahim and Elhady follow a “Rules of Three” approach, which includes three dates, three months, and 300 questions to make the perfect match for their clients.
The series, consisting of eight episodes, was directed by Smriti Mundhra, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Senain Kheshgi. Mundhra expressed how groundbreaking the show is in its depiction of love and faith, offering valuable lessons for audiences of all backgrounds.
