Cape Fear Apple TV+ Series: Complete Guide

Fans of author John D. MacDonald have something to look forward to with the upcoming TV series, Cape Fear. The series is based on MacDonald’s 1957 novel, The Executioners, which also inspired the films in 1962 and 1991. Featuring Gregory Peck, Robert De Niro, and Nick Nolte. Cape Fear is currently in production and is expected to premiere in 2026 with ten episodes in the lineup. The series will be available for streaming on Apple TV+.

The series will explore the story of happily married attorneys who are put to the test when a notorious killer from their past is released from prison.
