Prime Video Launches Major Apple TV App Update for Enhanced Viewing Experience
Amazon Prime Video has recently received a significant update on Apple TV, providing users with a more seamless tvOS experience. This update is available on all Apple TV 4K models as well as the Apple TV HD, offering six main improvements to enhance your streaming experience.
One of the highlights of this update is faster scrolling, allowing customers to navigate through the app using common gestures with the Siri Remote. By simply swiping in any direction, users can scroll through shows effortlessly and find their desired title quickly.
Moreover, new touchpad gestures have been implemented to make fast forwarding and rewinding content easier than ever. Customers can now swipe to their preferred playback point with ease.
The in-app search function has also been upgraded to provide automatic search results as customers type, making it quicker to find what you’re looking for. Additionally, features like motion and sound effects have been added to create a more cinematic experience when swiping through content, along with higher resolution images for immersive viewing.
Accessibility features have also been improved, with Apple’s suite of tools like VoiceOver, Hover Text, and Bold Text now available to enhance the overall viewing experience.
While I haven’t personally tried out the updated app yet, the features like improved gestures, faster search functionalities, and enhanced visual and sound effects make the Prime Video experience on Apple TV more user-friendly and seamless.
If you’re a fan of Apple TV+, you can even subscribe to and watch Apple TV+ directly within Amazon’s app. This is a great update that enhances the streaming experience on Apple TV, making it more convenient and enjoyable for users.
