Apple TV+ announces new remake of Cape Fear with Amy Adams
Cape Fear is getting a fresh new look, thanks to Apple TV+! The star-studded cast includes the talented Amy Adams and Javier Bardem. This classic tale has seen two incredible film adaptations in the past, one way back in 1962 with Gregory Peck and Robert Mitchum, and another in 1991 with the legendary Robert DeNiro under Martin Scorsese’s direction. Now, it’s making a comeback, as reported by Variety. Brace yourselves as a storm is brewing for the happily married couple, attorneys Anna (played by Adams) and Tom Bowden, as they face Max Cady (Bardem), a notorious killer from their past who’s just been released from prison.
