Paradise Series on Disney+ Leaves Viewers Shocked with Latest Twist
Fans of the hit series Paradise were left stunned by the latest episode’s shocking revelation. The fifth episode, titled “In the Palaces of Crowned Kings,” was released on Tuesday and many devoted viewers stayed up late to catch the newest installment. The captivating show on Disney+ follows the journey of Xavier Collins (played by Sterling K Brown), a widowed Secret Service agent investigating the assassination of the re-elected president, Cal Bradford (portrayed by James Marsden).

In this episode, the focus shifts to Cal’s father, Kane Bradford (played by Gerlad McRaney), an oil baron who now resides in Paradise and is struggling with dementia. Despite his condition, Kane has special clearance to access files on the late president’s tablet, which even Cal did not have the privilege to read. However, the episode takes a dramatic turn when it is revealed in the final moments that Collins’ teenage daughter, Presley (played by Aliyah Mastin) somehow has possession of the president’s tablet.
Viewers were left reeling by this unexpected twist, with many taking to social media to express their shock and confusion. Questions like, “How did she steal the tablet?” and “What made her go in there?” flooded the internet, showcasing just how engaging and mystifying the show has become for its audience.
Paradise is set in a serene and affluent community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals, and show creator Dan Fogelman consulted a sociologist to help design this utopian town. Boston University Assistant Professor, Jonathan Mijs, shed some light on the creative process by stating that the writers wanted to explore what a perfect society might look like and how it could be realistically designed.
