Braves TV Viewing Expansion Update

The Atlanta Braves just made it even easier for fans to catch their games! In a recent press release, the team announced that games will soon be available on Amazon Prime Video through an agreement with FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports).

This new viewing option will be available to customers within the Braves’ designated geographic area, with more details about the launch date and cost coming soon. The agreement comes on the heels of a deal between Diamond Sports Group, the Braves RSN owner, and Amazon last November to bring games to the platform. And it’s not just the Braves – other teams are expected to follow suit.

In total, 16 regional sports networks across 31 states will be involved in this partnership, including FanDuel Sports South and Southeast. What’s great is that Braves games will air on both RSNs simultaneously, so you won’t have to keep track of where to tune in.

Fans can also catch Braves games and programming on the FanDuel Sports Network app or at FanDuelSportsNetwork.com. For the first time ever, you can subscribe directly to the app on a monthly basis, in addition to accessing content through a TV provider.

Excitingly, FanDuel Sports Network will be airing seven Spring Training games starting March 2, along with regular season games broadcast regionally. And it’s safe to assume these games will also be available on Prime, as they’ll be accessible on “streaming providers throughout the team’s entire television footprint.”

The way Braves fans watch their team has been evolving over the past few months, with new opportunities to catch games. From an agreement with Gray TV in December to air select games on local channels across the Southeastern United States, to expanding access to Spring Training games via split coverage between the RSN and Gray Media in mid-January. You can even stream the nine remaining Braves Spring Training home games for free on the team’s website, MLB.TV, and in the MLB App.

So get ready to cheer on the Braves like never before, with more ways to catch the action than ever!
