HBO Max Launches in Latin America in June

HBO Max is gearing up for its big launch in Latin America and the Caribbean in late June, expanding its reach outside the U.S. for the first time. Exciting stuff! Johannes Larcher, the Head of HBO Max International, shared his enthusiasm, highlighting the fantastic combination of HBO’s content with WarnerMedia’s series and film catalog, as well as locally produced gems from Latin America.

For all you current HBO GO subscribers in Latin America and the Caribbean, good news! You’ll automatically gain access to HBO Max when it launches. The existing HBO GO service in this region will be gradually phased out to make way for the newer, bigger platform.

After the Latin American and Caribbean rollout, Europe is next in line for the HBO Max upgrade. Countries like the Nordics, Spain, Central Europe, and Portugal can expect to see their HBO-branded services transition to HBO Max later this year.
