Amazon Prime Video has just struck a deal with Viacom International Studios for Latin America, bringing two new exclusive shows to Prime Video. The first show, Homens?, is a comedy series created by Porta dos Fundos, Brazil’s top comedy content provider. It follows four close friends navigating the complexities of modern masculinity. Scheduled for a 2019 premiere, Homens? explores what it means to be a man in today’s world.
The second series, Dani Who?, is a dramatic show created by VIS and produced by Argos. The story revolves around Dani and her friends as they uncover their shared origin following the disappearance of a friend. They unearth unique abilities and secrets that suggest they may not be from this world, leading to a deeper unraveling of their hidden past. Production for Dani Who? is set to begin in 2019.
Pablo Iacoviello, Head of Content for Latin America at Amazon Prime Video, expressed excitement about the new partnership with VIS, emphasizing Amazon’s commitment to delivering top-notch content to audiences in Latin America. He highlighted the addition of Homens? as an exclusive Brazilian series to their expanding catalog of titles.

Homens? and Dani Who? join Prime Video’s lineup of exclusive streaming titles in Latin America, which includes popular shows like Falco, The Good Doctor, and Mr. Robot. Additionally, the platform features local original series such as Diablo Guardian and Un Extraño Enemigo, with the upcoming premier of LOL: Last One Laughing starring Eugenio Derbez set for December 14.
