Niagara University Purple Eagles defeat Peacocks in latest game

The Saint Peter’s Peacocks dominated the Niagara Purple Eagles with a score of 80-50, extending Niagara’s losing streak to six games in the MAAC women’s basketball matchup on Thursday night. Led by Fatmata Janneh’s impressive 22-point and 16-rebound double-double, the Peacocks took control early in the game with a 15-2 run in the first quarter, ending the period with a 21-11 lead.

Although Niagara made a valiant effort with a 7-0 run at the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Peacocks maintained their lead throughout the second half, expanding it to 32 points in the final minutes. They outscored Niagara in every quarter, demonstrating their dominance on the court.
