2025 SMX Playoff Locations and Venues for Racer X

The 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) playoffs schedule is officially set! Fans can mark their calendars for three thrilling playoff rounds set to take place in the fall. While the regular season schedules for Monster Energy AMA Supercross and the AMA Pro Motocross Championship were announced in September, the SMX Playoff dates and locations were left as a mystery until now.

After much anticipation, the details for the three SMX Playoff rounds have finally been revealed. The first round will kick off on September 6 at zMAX Dragway in Concord, North Carolina. The second round will follow on September 13 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Lastly, the SMX Finals will be held on September 20 at The Strip at The Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.

What’s interesting is that the third and final round will see a mix of old and new venues. The zMAX Dragway will host the SMX Playoffs for the third time in a row, while The Strip at The Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be the finish line for the second consecutive season. For the first time, the hybrid-SMX format will visit The Dome at America’s Center, making it a location to watch.
