Prime Video Partners with Hendrick Motorsports as Primary Sponsor

Amazon’s Prime Video has teamed up with Hendrick Motorsports to sponsor driver Chase Elliott and his No. 9 NASCAR Cup Series team until 2027. This exciting partnership includes three primary races each year, along with full-season associate sponsorship.

In 2025, keep an eye out for the No. 9 Prime Video Chevrolet hitting the track at Talladega Superspeedway on April 27, followed by appearances at Kansas Speedway on May 11 and the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway on May 18. Fans got a sneak peek at the new car design today on social media!

Prime Video’s collaboration with Elliott kicks off with these three races before leading into their broadcast slate of five Cup Series races, starting with the Coca-Cola 600 on May 25. This makes Prime Video the first direct-to-consumer media partner for NASCAR.

Excitement is high on both sides, as Stacey Rosenson, Prime Video’s Head of U.S. Sports Marketing, shared, “We’re thrilled to team up with Hendrick Motorsports and Chase as we dive into NASCAR coverage this year. It’s a fantastic extension of our new NASCAR relationship. Chase’s popularity and championship-winning talent make him a perfect fit for the No. 9 Prime Video team, and we can’t wait to see them in action as we get ready for our streaming debut.”

In addition to streaming five races to close out the first half of the Cup Series season, Prime Video will offer exclusive coverage of practice and qualifying for most of the first half of the Cup schedule. Viewers in the U.S. can catch all the NASCAR action from the comfort of home or on the go, across a variety of devices using the Prime Video app.

Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports, expressed his pride in the new partnership, saying, “Welcoming Prime Video to our team is a proud moment. They’re diving into our sport in a big way and bringing an innovative approach to delivering top-notch broadcasts and content to fans. We’re excited to support their efforts and can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in the next three years.”

As for Chase Elliott, the 29-year-old driver is no stranger to success with 19 points-paying Cup wins under his belt. Voted the series’ most popular driver for seven years running, Elliott is a force to be reckoned with on the track. His enthusiasm for Prime Video joining the NASCAR world shone through as he shared, “It’s great to see Prime Video jump into NASCAR and partner with us at Hendrick Motorsports and the No. 9 team. They’re leaders in entertainment and technology, and I think it’s a perfect match on many levels. I’m thrilled to be a part of their effort and to have their support.”

The future looks bright with Prime Video and Hendrick Motorsports revving up for an exciting journey together!
