Nelly and Ashanti team up for new docuseries on Peacock
Nelly and Ashanti are teaming up for a new docuseries on Peacock, giving fans a deeper look into their love story. The series, produced by Critical Content, known for MTV’s Catfish, will showcase their relationship from their early days in 2003 to their recent reunion in 2023, marriage in 2023, and the birth of their first child, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, in July 2024.
Both Nelly and Ashanti are well-known musicians who have dabbled in television and film. Nelly had his reality show, Nellyville, on BET, appeared on Real Husbands of Hollywood, and had roles in The Longest Yard, CSI: New York, and Dancing with the Stars. Ashanti has also appeared in various films and TV shows, such as The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz, Resident Evil: Extinction, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
The couple will not only be the stars of the show but also executive producers, along with Jenny Daly and Oji Singletary from Critical Content Studios. Stay tuned for more updates on when the docuseries will be available on Peacock!
