David Schwimmer discusses his role in Disney+ series ‘Goosebumps: The Vanishing’
If you’re looking for a bit of excitement this winter, you’re in for a treat – even if thrillers aren’t usually your thing. David Schwimmer is making a comeback on the screen with a thrilling new series called “Goosebumps: The Vanishing.” It definitely sounds spooky, so let’s dive in.
In the series, Schwimmer plays Anthony, a botanist and divorced father of two teenagers. His character, Anthony, is on a quest to unravel the mystery of his missing brother, who disappeared over three decades ago. As you can imagine, things get pretty intense as Anthony delves deeper into his investigation.
Schwimmer shared that taking on this role was a new and exciting challenge for him. He mentioned that the “Goosebumps” books are beloved by many and he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be a part of such a universally cherished series.
The young actors who play Anthony’s on-screen twins, Devin and Cece, also had a blast filming the show. Jayden Bartels, who plays Cece, mentioned how much she enjoyed the running scenes and the thrill of pretending to encounter scary monsters on set.
