Matt Busch, a renowned writer and artist known for his work on blockbuster films like “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones,” recently released his first feature film, “Aladdin 3477: The Jinn of Wisdom.” The film, inspired by the classic Arabian tale with a futuristic twist, premiered on Apple TV, Prime Video, and Fandango at Home.

After more than 15 years of hard work, Busch expressed his excitement and relief about the film’s release. The movie follows the story of a street-smart orphan in futuristic Hong Kong and his quest to find a magical lamp, with a touch of “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones” vibes.

Despite its indie film status, “Aladdin 3477” boasts impressive artistry, imagination, and a dedicated cast and crew. The film promises plenty of laughs, action, intrigue, and heartfelt moments for viewers of all ages. Additionally, two more films in the trilogy have already been completed, setting the stage for even more exciting storytelling.

Busch’s success in completing the trilogy serves as an inspiring example for Michigan’s film community. He advocates for the Michigan Multimedia Jobs Act, pending legislation that aims to promote Michigan-produced films and digital streaming productions by offering tax incentives. While previous incentive programs in the state have been deemed ineffective, Busch remains optimistic about the future of Michigan-based filmmaking.
