Former NBA All-Stars Blake Griffin and Dirk Nowitzki are joining the Prime Video team as studio analysts for the upcoming NBA season. Blake Griffin, who retired after a successful 15-year career in April, was a top choice for many networks, including NBC and ESPN. Griffin, known for being the first overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft and winning the league’s Rookie of the Year award in 2011, is a six-time All-Star and has a laundry list of achievements.

Dirk Nowitzki, a basketball legend and a member of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary team, will also be stepping into the analyst role for the first time. Nowitzki, who played for the Dallas Mavericks for 21 seasons, capturing the 2007 NBA Most Valuable Player award, retired in 2019 and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2023.

Taylor Rooks, a familiar face from Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football” coverage, will also be part of the Prime Video NBA studio show, bringing her expertise and charm to the mix. The studio show will be located in Culver City, California, on the Amazon MGM Studios lot.

Prime Video’s NBA coverage will include 66 games during the regular season, featuring all quarterfinals of the in-season NBA Cup, the play-in tournament, first- and second-round playoff games, and one of the conference finals in six of the 11 years.

With this new lineup of talented analysts and an exciting schedule of games, NBA fans have a lot to look forward to next season on Prime Video. Get ready to experience the action like never before!
