“It’s not every day you get called a ‘hack,’ but Jean Smart is thrilled about it! The veteran star just won her second Golden Globe for her role in the show ‘Hacks’ at the 82nd edition of the Golden Globes awards. Graciously accepting the award for best actress in a TV comedy/musical, Jean Smart expressed her gratitude to HBO Max, the show’s producers, and her co-star Hannah Einbinder, acknowledging that without Ava, there would be no Deborah on the show. And the fun isn’t ending anytime soon – she mentioned that they’re currently in the middle of Season 4 and having a blast.

This isn’t Jean Smart’s first rodeo when it comes to awards – she previously won a best actress Emmy for her portrayal of Deborah Vance in Season 1. Always one to inject humor into her acceptance speeches, Smart joked about the attention, saying, “It’s very humbling, it really is. And I appreciate this because I just don’t get enough attention. I’m serious.”

The competition was tough in the category, with nominees like Kristen Bell, Quinta Brunson, Ayo Edebiri, Selena Gomez, and Kathryn Hahn also vying for the coveted trophy. But in the end, it was Jean Smart who took home the prize, solidifying her status as a powerhouse in the entertainment industry. Cheers to Jean Smart on this well-deserved win!”
