On January 1st, 2025, AEW put on the 6th annual Fight For The Fallen live in Ashville, North Carolina inside Harrah’s Cherokee Center. If you missed it, don’t worry—you can catch the action on TBS and HBO Max in the United States, or on TSN in Canada.
The results were an action-packed set of matches, including:
– Hangman Page defeated Orange Cassidy with a Buckshot Lariat in 12 minutes and 54 seconds
– Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley) beat The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) via Hurt Lock on Caster in just 4 minutes and 11 seconds
– Julia Hart emerged victorious over Jamie Hayter with a Mist in 9 minutes and 59 seconds
The night also featured a Triple Threat Match, which saw Jay White take down Swerve Strickland and Roderick Strong with a Blade Runner on Strong in 10 minutes and 34 seconds. As a result of his win, White secured the #1 spot in the Casino Gauntlet Match.
Further matches included Powerhouse Hobbs defeating Rob Killjoy and Jon Cruz in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match, and Rated FTR (Adam Copeland, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) taking down Death Raiders (Trios Champions Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta & AEW World Champion Jon Moxley) in a Trios Match, with the win coming via Spear on Yuta after 18 minutes and 38 seconds.
