ABC has unveiled the synopsis for Season 7, Episode 1 of The Rookie, titled “The Shot,” which premieres on January 7 at 10:00 p.m. EST. In this episode, we see John recovering from a gunshot wound and feeling the effects of his age. The team also welcomes two new rookies and continues their quest to capture two dangerous escaped inmates with personal vendettas.
