“New Spider-Man Trailer Puts Spidey in Marvel’s Universe”

Disney+ recently teased fans with the first look at its upcoming animated Spider-Man series, titled “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.” The trailer, released over the holidays, kicks off with the iconic Spider-Man theme song, written by Bob Harris and Paul Francis Webster for the 1967 cartoon series.

In this fresh take on the Spider-Man story, Peter Parker is voiced by Hudson Thomas. We see Peter in all his relatable teenage awkwardness – he’s late for school and ends up getting hit by a car. Despite his setbacks, Peter dons a homemade Spider-Man suit to fight crime, only to face ridicule from the criminals he encounters.

One exciting twist in this series is the introduction of Norman Osborn, also known as the Green Goblin, voiced by Colman Domingo. Unlike recent live-action portrayals, Norman Osborn is depicted here as an ally to Peter, even designing a new suit for him.

The trailer gives us a glimpse into the heart of Peter Parker’s character – his inherent goodness and his journey of self-discovery. Set to premiere on January 29, “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” promises to bring a fresh, animated take on the beloved web-slinger.
