The 8-acre development, located at Kingsland Boulevard and Katy Fort Bend Road, will feature a mix of entertainment options, restaurants, and a hotel. According to reports from The Houston Chronicle, WHGP Commercial is actively seeking out restaurants, hotels, and health-focused grocery concepts to join the development. Construction is expected to kick off later this year, with tenants anticipated to move in by late 2026.

Aside from his real estate ventures, Washington Ho is also making waves in the beverage industry. He recently partnered with Austin-based company Hometown Hero to create a low-calorie seltzer infused with hemp-derived THC. Despite potential challenges in the Texas hemp industry, the product is set to hit the market soon.

In addition to the Katy project, WHGP Commercial is working on a 5-acre “restaurant row” development in Northwest Houston.
