Tyler James Williams stars in top 10 crime thriller on Hulu

If you’re a fan of crime thrillers, Hulu has just added a new movie that you won’t want to miss. “Amber Alert” stars Tyler James Williams from Abbott Elementary and Hayden Panettiere from Scream. In this suspenseful film, Shane (played by Williams), a ride-share driver, picks up Jaq (Panettiere) just as an Amber Alert is issued. When Shane spots a car matching the description from the alert, the two strangers find themselves in a dangerous game of cat and mouse, chasing down kidnappers and risking it all. Directed by Kerry Bellessa, “Amber Alert” is a gripping thriller without the found footage aspect of Bellessa’s earlier film of the same name from 2012. Williams and Panettiere also serve as executive producers for the movie, which also features a talented cast including Kevin Dunn, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Kurt Oberhaus, and more.

In an interview with Dread Central, director Kerry Bellessa shared that while “Amber Alert” isn’t based on true events, it was inspired by a personal experience that deeply affected him and his wife during a drive from LA to Phoenix. The film, a Lionsgate production, is now available for streaming on Hulu.
