has me fed up.
I have no idea who Andrew Tate is, and that is probably a good thing. You have every right to like who you like and loathe who you loathe.
No better match exemplifies AEW’s problem of too many fake finishes than the recent Street Fight between The Conglomeration vs. The Learning Tree on Dynamite. There were a bunch of cool high spots with tables and ladders, including a Briscoe Froggy Bow from the top of the ladder to put Jericho through the table; which would have made a great finish for the babyfaces. Instead of ending it there, Suzuki wins with a lame Brainbuster 15 seconds later! WTF? So a long heated rivalry with a weapons match blowoff ends like that? The live crowd barely reacted. Would you cite too many fake finishes as a chronic TK booking problem?
Absolutely. Tony subscribes to the Vince Russo “SWERVE” School Of Booking. It’s a school that should have closed down long ago but Tony keeps it open. Between ridiculous false finishes and repeated big moves that don’t ever get sold, AEW is hard to take seriously for me. It’s all just performance art.
