Based on Carol Lovering’s bestselling novel, the show delves into the complex and toxic relationship between Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco. Set in both 2008 and 2015, the show has captivated audiences with its dual timelines and passionate storyline.

With Gen Z viewers dissecting plotlines on Reddit and TikTok, “Tell Me Lies” has gained significant buzz. On IMDb.com, the show boasts a rating of 7 out of 10, based on over 12,000 user reviews. While Hulu doesn’t share viewership numbers, the show has enjoyed success, consistently ranking among Hulu’s top 15 most popular shows.

Filmed in metro Atlanta, the series showcases fictional Baird College, with exteriors filmed at Agnes Scott College in Decatur. Some interiors were shot in a Decatur building previously used by popular shows like “The Originals” and “The Vampire Diaries.”

Season 2 of “Tell Me Lies” delved deeper into the lives of the characters, exploring themes such as date rape, same-sex attraction, and cross-generational affairs. The season concluded with a tragic event and an unresolved cliffhanger, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter.
