Louisiana Lottery Confirms Mega Millions Single Ticket Winner
If you missed the Mega Millions drawing last night, here’s a recap: a single ticket sold in California matched all the numbers to claim the game’s top prize of $1.22 billion. California tickets also won two Match 5 prizes, as did tickets sold in Arizona, Missouri, and Texas. Unfortunately, Louisiana tickets didn’t hit the jackpot, but there were still some big wins in the state.
The winning numbers from last night’s drawing were 03, 07, 37, 49, 55, Mega Ball 6, and Megaplier x3. If you think you have a winning ticket, be sure to verify your numbers on the Official Louisiana Lottery or Mega Millions websites to claim your prize.
Louisiana had four $10,000 winners and one $30,000 winner from Friday’s drawing, with winning tickets sold in Pearl River, Metairie, New Orleans, Marrero, and Baton Rouge. Additionally, there were several tickets that earned prizes of $1,500 or $200 in the state.
After this jackpot win, the Mega Millions jackpot will reset to $20 million, with the next drawing scheduled for New Year’s Eve. In the meantime, the focus will shift back to Powerball, with tonight’s jackpot estimated at $145 million. And don’t forget about the Lotto and Easy 5 drawings taking place tonight in Louisiana.
