Yellowstone Likely to Continue with Spin-off Series

Hey there! If you’re a fan of “Criminal Minds,” you’re probably wondering about Matthew Gray Gubler, right? Well, here’s the scoop: the show was rebooted as “Criminal Minds: Evolution” on Paramount+ a couple of years ago. While many of the original cast members returned, Gubler, who played the super-intellectual agent Spencer Reid, was noticeably absent. Showrunner Erica Messer explained that there’s always room for Gubler, but with shorter seasons and fewer episodes, it can be tricky to schedule busy actors. Gubler has been busy working on “Dollface” and writing children’s books, like “Rumple Buttercup” and “The Little Kid with the Big Green Hand,” which both became New York Times bestsellers.

Good news, though! Gubler is set to appear in an upcoming episode of “Evolution.” Season three just finished filming and will premiere on Paramount+ in 2025. The only potential hiccup in getting Gubler on board full-time is his leading role in a CBS series called “Einstein.”

Now, onto some “Yellowstone” news! If you’re a fan of Rip and Beth, you’ll be thrilled to hear that there are strong hints of a spin-off in the works. Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, who play Rip and Beth, reportedly signed deals to continue their characters’ love story in a new series. The spin-off will likely include “Yellowstone” in its title and give Paramount a chance to air episodes on their own streaming service.

In other news, Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle have called off their engagement. Guilfoyle, a former host on Fox News, won’t be returning to the network as she has been nominated to serve as a United States Ambassador to Greece.
