Will third time be the charm for Corey Lay?

The Challenge is back with its 516th season on MTV, and one of the fan-favorite competitors making a return is Mr. Corey Lay. It’s always exciting to watch him compete for that big cash prize every week!

Corey first gained fame as a reality TV star in 2020 on HBO Max’s 12 Dates of Christmas before transitioning to MTV for various shows. The Challenge: All Stars: Rivals is gearing up for its fifth season in the “all-star” format, set to premiere on January 25, 2025. This upcoming season marks Corey’s third appearance as arguably the most attractive man in the cast… no complaints here.

Other standout cast members this season include Devin Walker, Faysal Shafaat, Turabi “Turbo” Çamkıran, Aneesa Ferreira, Da’Vonne Rogers, Veronica Portillo, and Corey’s rival partner Tula “Big T” Fazakerley.

Who is Corey Lay? At 34, he’s a personal trainer, certified stud, activist, reality TV star, occasional actor, and independent video game producer. Oh, and let’s not forget, he’s really, really tall – or at least he appears that way in his photos.

If Wes Bergmann can branch out to E! with House of Villains, then Corey Lay (mutha f****n Lay) can definitely explore other avenues like Love Island or The Traitors. We could use more attractive and educated gay men out there representing the culture.

From Washington to California, from HBO Max to MTV, Corey has shown that he has what it takes to be a reality TV star for years to come, if that’s what he desires. While we can’t claim to know him personally, his determination seems apparent.

So, will Corey be able to walk away as a winner this year? Is the saying true – third time’s the charm? We’ll have to watch and see. Remember, The Challenge: All Stars: Rivals premieres on January 25, 2025 on MTV. Good luck, Mr. Corey Lay! We’re rooting for you!
