Netflix Announces WWE Raw Schedule and Archived Content Plans
“WWE Raw” is making its way to Netflix in just a couple of weeks! The premiere event is set to take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on January 6, and WWE recently held a kickoff party at their headquarters, teasing some exciting matches for the debut. While fans are eagerly anticipating the live event, many are also curious about the fate of WWE’s archived content now that it’s leaving the WWE Network outside of the United States.
For American fans, don’t worry – you’ll still be able to catch all the action on Peacock. However, it’s worth noting that WWE’s streaming deal with Peacock is set to expire in early 2026.
Netflix has come to the rescue with an “ultimate guide” Q&A page on their website, addressing common questions from subscribers about where and when they can catch the Monday night program starting on January 6.
Exciting news for viewers in the United States and territories like American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, and more – Netflix will be hosting “Raw” on their platform. But that’s not all! The show will also be broadcast to 39 countries and territories around the world, including the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Philippines, and more.
If you’re a WWE fan in any of the above countries, get ready to use Netflix to watch not only “WWE Raw” but also “WWE NXT,” “WWE SmackDown,” and all PLEs.
Now, what about all that precious archived content? With the WWE Network shutting down, the burning question is whether we’ll still have access to those classic moments. Unfortunately, Netflix will only be offering “select WWE archival content.” In the United States, you can expect to find “WWE Raw” archival content, while international subscribers will have access to additional content – all at no extra cost.
Curious about what old footage will be available? You’ll have to be patient, as the content is locked until January. Once it’s unlocked, past episodes and PLEs will be available on-demand immediately for viewers in regions that support live events. For those outside those regions, on-demand content will be accessible a few days later.
Get ready to relive some iconic WWE moments on Netflix starting this January!
