In North Omaha, one person is currently in the hospital following a shooting that took place around 1 a.m. near 28th and Ruggles. The victim is in critical condition and receiving medical care.

Additionally, a separate incident in south central Omaha resulted in one person being taken to the hospital in critical condition after a crash near 50th and Grover streets just before midnight on Sunday. The Omaha Police Department posted a photo on social media showing a car that had flipped over.
