Golf Channel Faces Criticism from Fans Over PNC Championship Coverage

We all know how eagerly fans have been waiting for Tiger Woods to make his return to the game. And now that he’s back, it’s only natural that we’d all want to see him in action. But, as reality often does, it has a way of putting a damper on our excitement. Today, if you want to watch Woods play live at the PNC Championship alongside his son, you’ll need to subscribe to Peacock, a paid streaming service.

That’s right. If you’re hoping to see Woods tee off with Charlie Woods, it’ll cost you a Peacock subscription. The frustration among fans is evident, and it’s easy to see why. After a long six months without seeing Woods play, fans were excited to watch him back on the course. Unfortunately, Golf Channel only provided a mere 90 minutes of coverage before switching over to the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.

“With only 90 mins of coverage after 6 months away from the game, the only way to watch Tiger LIVE this afternoon is with Peacock, a paid streaming service. Golf Channel had just 90 mins of coverage and have now shifted over to the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.” And to add insult to injury, NBC’s coverage at 4 PM will be tape-delayed, which is understandably frustrating for golf fans.

So, what can fans do in this situation? If you’re willing to pay for Peacock, you’ll be able to watch Woods live this afternoon. But if not, you may have to settle for tape-delayed coverage or try to catch highlights online.

It’s a tough situation for fans, but hopefully, there will be a way for everyone to enjoy watching Tiger Woods back in action soon.
