Update: January Changes to Prime Video Membership Rules
Big changes are coming to Amazon Prime membership rules in India starting in January 2025. Prime Video is implementing new restrictions on the number of devices that can stream content simultaneously under one account.
From January 2025, Prime members will only be able to access Prime Video on up to five devices, with a limit of two TVs per account. If you are someone who streams content on more than two TVs, you will need to purchase a separate subscription for the third TV.
This change means saying goodbye to the previous freedom of streaming on up to five devices with no device restrictions. Amazon offers Prime membership at different price points – monthly for Rs 299, quarterly for Rs 599, and annually for Rs 1499. There are also other options like Annual Prime Lite for Rs 799 and Prime Shopping Edition for Rs 399 per year.
So, make sure you’re prepared for these upcoming changes if you’re a fan of Prime Video and multiple device streaming. Stay tuned for more updates and enjoy your streaming experience!
