Kenan Thompson and Kevin Hart to Reunite for Peacock’s 2024 Comedy Special

Kenan Thompson and Kevin Hart are teaming up once again for a Peacock special airing this December. This annual year-end special, titled 2024: Back That Year Up, will feature the dynamic duo recapping the biggest news stories of the past year in a fun and irreverent way.

Joining Thompson and Hart will be an all-star lineup including Nate Bargatze, Mookie Betts, Kenny G, Blake Griffin, Jon Hamm, Jonquel Jones, Seth Meyers, mgk, and Rashida ‘Sheedz’ Olayiwola.

The 60-minute special is set to premiere on Peacock on Monday, December 23rd. Thompson, SNL’s longest-tenured cast member, and Hart are thrilled to bring laughs and jokes to wrap up the year with their incredible celebrity friends.

You might recognize Thompson from Saturday Night Live, where he has been a cast member since 2003. His recent projects include 2023’s Good Burger 2 and a sitcom called Kenan.

Hart shared his excitement by saying, “We’re back baby! It’s been a wild year, and we are going to end it with a BANG. Get ready for another season of Back That Year Up with me and Kenan–the holidays wouldn’t be the same without us!” And Thompson added, “The best time of year is here.
