Sports fans were thrilled by South Brunswick High School’s softball team’s victory in the NCHSAA 3A state championship in June, while tearjerking moments like Angelica May’s proposal after completing her chemotherapy treatments and the heartwarming community effort to reunite a lost wedding ring with its owner in Southport reminded us of the power of love and kindness.
