Becky Lynch Cast in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

Becky Lynch, the WWE wrestler known by her real name Rebecca Quin, has landed a role in the upcoming Star Trek series Starfleet Academy. She took to social media to share the news that she will be part of the bridge crew in the series, set to stream on Paramount+.

In her announcement, Lynch expressed her excitement about joining the Star Trek universe after her wrestling career. She mentioned how incredible the experience has been, working alongside a talented cast and crew. She encouraged fans to look out for the series when it premieres on Paramount+ and signed off with a classic “live long and prosper.”

Production for the series began in August and will feature familiar faces like Mary Wiseman reprising her role as Sylvia Tilly from Star Trek: Discovery and Tig Notaro as Jett Reno. Additionally, Oded Fehr will play Admiral Charles Vance, and Robert Picardo from Star Trek: Voyager will also be part of the cast.

Joining Lynch and the rest of the crew are Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard, George Hawkins, Karim Diané, Zoë Steiner, Holly Hunter, with recurring guest stars Gina Yashere and Paul Giamatti.

Starfleet Academy is scheduled to premiere in 2026 and has already been renewed for a second season.
