Legacy Talents Return in Star Trek: Lower Deck’s Penultimate Episode

The latest episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks brought together some fan-favorite characters from the Star Trek universe, but with a twist! In “Fissure Quest,” viewers saw familiar faces like T’Pol, Julian Bashir, Elim Garak, Lily Sloane, Harry Kim, and Curzon Dax, but in different versions of themselves from alternate universes.

Jolene Blalock returned to voice T’Pol, who is now married to Charles “Trip” Tucker for over six decades. Alexander Siddig reprised his role as Julian Bashir, but with the backstory of The Doctor from Voyager. Andrew Robinson played a unique version of Elim Garak who is a Starfleet doctor in this universe.

Alfre Woodward returned as Lily Sloane, who now works on a device that allows ships to travel between universes. Garrett Wang also made a comeback as Harry Kim, but in various forms from alternate timelines. And we also saw Curzon Dax, voiced by Fred Tatasciore, making a technical return to the series.
