Bandeau: Artist Spotlight

This week, we’re shining a spotlight on Bandeau, a pop music project led by musician Chad Thompson. Bandeau includes contributors Gregory Dean McIntosh, Keith Thompson, and Zach Shipps.

Chad Thompson is not only a talented musician but also an animator and director. He co-founded the group Johnny Headband and the production studio Yeah Haus. Recently, Yeah Haus produced an animated segment for the reboot of “Yo Gabba Gabba” on Apple TV+.

Exciting news for Bandeau fans – their debut album “Spirit Fingers” will be released this Friday, available digitally and on vinyl. Make sure to check it out!

Mark your calendars for January 25th, when Thompson and McIntosh will be performing as Bandeau at Outer Limits Lounge. The event will also feature performances by Troy Gregory and the Mercury Gauntlett, Timothy Monger and Carol Catherine, along with Jim Cherwick. Plus, there’s a special appearance expected from the Detroit Party Marching Band. Don’t miss out!
