Halsey Ready to Embark on New Prime Video Series: Journey Ahead
Halsey is stepping into a new world by developing a dark comedy series for Prime Video called Bloodlust. Although she won’t be starring in the series, the “Without Me” singer will create, write, and executive produce the project. Ti West, who directed Halsey in the film “MaXXXine,” will direct and executive produce the series alongside Mark Friedman, known for dark comedies like Severance and Dispatches from Elsewhere.
Excited about this new opportunity, Halsey shared on Instagram, “very excited to embark on this journey with some of the best people that I know. more to say later. for now, there’s work to do.” This marks a shift from Halsey’s previous involvement in acting, where she appeared in A Star Is Born and the Showtime series Roadies, as well as provided voices for animated films.
The new series on Prime Video is a significant milestone for the multitalented artist, expanding her creative horizons beyond music and acting. We can’t wait to see how Halsey’s vision unfolds in the world of TV writing.
