Entrepreneur from St. Clair set to vie for $20,000 on Prime Video’s ‘Buy It Now’

St. Clair entrepreneur, Dan Cass, also known as “Inventor Danny,” is set to showcase his innovative product, the Liddle Speaker, on Prime Video’s “Buy It Now” competition show. Hosted by the charismatic JB Smoove, the show offers entrepreneurs like Cass a chance to pitch their products to an audience called “The 100” in hopes of winning $20,000 and a spot in Amazon’s exclusive Buy It Now store.

Cass developed the idea for the Liddle Speaker during the pandemic when a customer suggested making the speakers removable for the RV industry. This led to the creation of the Liddle Speaker, which won the Best of CES 2022 award. Now, Cass is preparing to launch the next-generation Liddle Speaker Pro at CES on Jan. 5. This sleek, portable Bluetooth speaker offers high-fidelity sound, seamless connectivity, an eight-hour battery life, and a patented magnetic design for easy attachment to phones and other surfaces.

With a master’s degree in electrical engineering and experience in the automotive industry, Cass founded D3 Products in St. Clair in 2016. By 2020, the company was recognized as the “hottest startup” at the CES. To secure a spot on “Buy It Now,” Cass underwent a rigorous selection process, which led to filming at Amazon MGM Studios in Culver City, California.
