Elton John Collaborates with Brandi Carlile on New Song “Never Too Late”

Elton John and Brandi Carlile recently released a brand new original song called “Never Too Late” for the Disney+ documentary, Elton John: Never Too Late. Written in the summer of 2023 by Elton and Carlile, the song was also co-produced and co-written by Andrew Watt.

Carlile shared her thoughts on the project, expressing how deeply moved she was by the early cut of the documentary. She found it incredibly touching to witness the historic footage of Elton and the journey of his life. Despite the beautiful moments captured on screen, she acknowledged the loneliness and challenges that Elton faced. Carlile emphasized the important message of the documentary, highlighting that it’s never too late to find love, start a family, or make significant life changes.

Elton John was equally enthusiastic about collaborating with Brandi on the song. He shared that when Brandi approached him with the idea of co-writing a new track inspired by the documentary, he was thrilled.
