Warner Bros Discovery is gearing up to launch its Max brand in Turkey next spring, bringing exciting changes to the streaming landscape in the region. This announcement was made by Deniz Sasmaz Oflaz, vice president of local original productions, local channels, and streaming operations for Turkey, at the recent Content London event.

Oflaz shared that her team is already hard at work preparing for the introduction of Max to the Turkish market. The new service will replace BluTV, where Discovery has held a 35% stake since 2021, taking full control last year.

The transition from BluTV to Max has been highly anticipated ever since the initial rollout of Max, which combines the content of former platforms HBO Max and Discovery+. Despite the excitement surrounding this change, details about pricing have not yet been revealed.

It’s an exciting time for Turkish viewers as they await the arrival of Max next year. Stay tuned for more updates as Warner Bros Discovery gears up to bring its Max brand to Turkey in the spring.
