Good morning! Here are the latest headlines from Omaha on Monday, Dec. 9: Police are currently investigating a shooting that resulted in a 17-year-old boy being injured on Saturday. The incident occurred near 27th St. and Woolworth Ave. just before 5 p.m. According to a witness, the shooting was the result of an altercation involving the victim and three suspects.

In other news, an Omaha man tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 80 over the weekend. Timothy Peterson, 47, was identified as the victim of the crash by OPD. Officers responded to the scene around 1:30 p.m. on I-80 near 60th St. on Friday, where Peterson was declared deceased.
