2024 Video Trailer for Rose Matafeo’s HBO Max Special

Rose Matafeo is gearing up for her new HBO Max special, “On And On And On,” and the trailer is here for a sneak peek! In this special, Rose dives into topics like her fashion choices, the things you start saying as you age, and even getting dumped for simply being herself.

You might recognize Rose from her outstanding show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival earlier this year, which earned her a nomination. She also took the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe this August. Filmed last month at the Britten Theatre in London, this special is set to premiere on HBO Max in the US on December 19th.

Rose revealed that she was battling laryngitis during filming and jokingly mentioned that any praise she receives for her performance is accepted, but all blame for any shortcomings goes to the steroids she was on. While there’s no UK broadcast date yet, Sky holds a content deal with HBO, so UK fans might get to catch it soon too.

“On And On And On” follows a 16,000-word note that Rose built up on her phone, delving into relationships, dating in your 20s versus your 30s, being there for friends during breakups, and exploring the generational differences between herself and her parents at the same age. This special marks Rose Matafeo’s second one after her 2020 special, “Horndog.”
