CJ ENM Prepares for US Expansion through Prime Video

CJ ENM is gearing up to make a big splash in the United States by launching over 150 premium pieces of content for Amazon Prime Video subscribers. The Korean entertainment powerhouse announced that starting November 25, American viewers can enjoy a curated collection of popular Korean dramas, films, and variety shows through “CJ ENM Selects,” a new add-on subscription service. And don’t worry about language barriers—all titles will come fully subtitled in English.

Exciting series like “The Auditors” and “LTNS” are part of the lineup, along with award-winning dramas such as “Monstrous” and “Work Later, Drink Now.” U.S. audiences can look forward to romance variety shows like “EXchange” and “Love Catcher,” with “EXchange” already winning over Prime Video viewers with its Japanese adaptation.

Two standout dramas from the 2022 Cannes International Series Festival, “Monstrous” and “Work Later, Drink Now,” are also set to capture global audiences, including those in the U.S. CJ ENM hopes that by making more Korean content available overseas, it can expand its reach and strengthen its position as a leader in the entertainment industry.

The company has been steadily growing its international presence by showcasing its top content on platforms like Samsung TV Plus and Apple TV, with a focus on penetrating the North American market.
