So, how can you tune in to watch the Georgia-Texas showdown? Here are all the details you need to know:
ABC:
To watch the game live on ABC, simply tune in at 4:00pm ET. If you’re in the metro-Atlanta area, you can catch ABC on Channel 2 with most cable and satellite services. You can also access ABC for free over-the-air (OTA) by using the appropriate antenna. For viewers outside the Atlanta area, be sure to check your local listings or do a quick search online to find the channel.
ESPN3:
If you have a cable, satellite, or streaming subscription that includes ABC/ESPN, you can stream the game on ESPN3. Just head to the WatchESPN website or the ESPN app on your device, select the Georgia-Texas game, and log in using your qualifying TV provider credentials. It’s that easy!
ESPN+:
While most college football games on ABC were available for streaming via ESPN+ this season, it seems that the SEC Championship Game will not be offered on this platform. However, ESPN will also have a Skycast of the Georgia-Texas game on the SEC Network.
Don’t forget to stick around after the SEC Championship Game, as the 12-team College Football Playoff Bracket will be revealed on Sunday, Dec. 8 at noon ET on ESPN. Regardless of the outcome of the Georgia-Texas game, the Bulldogs are expected to secure a spot in the playoff field. A win would secure a top four seed and a first-round bye, while a loss would likely lead to a first-round game at home in Athens.
So, mark your calendars and get ready to cheer on your favorite team in this highly anticipated matchup. It’s sure to be an exciting game that you won’t want to miss!
