Apple TV+ has unveiled the full-length trailer for the upcoming second season of its acclaimed drama “Severance,” set to debut on January 17th. The show follows Mark Scout, played by Adam Scott, who leads a team at Lumon Industries where employees undergo a procedure that splits their memories between their professional and personal lives.

This innovative approach to work-life balance becomes the focal point of the series as Mark gets entangled in a mystery that challenges the very essence of his job and identity. As season two unfolds, Mark and his associates face the dire repercussions of tampering with the severance boundary, propelling them into further turmoil.

The ensemble cast includes Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette, with Sarah Bock joining as a new regular. The series is created and written by Dan Erickson, with Ben Stiller directing five episodes this season. Other directors for the series include Uta Bresiewitz, Sam Donovan, and Jessica Lee Gagné.

The show boasts an impressive lineup of executive producers, with names like John Lesher, Jackie Cohn, Mark Friedman, Beau Willimon, Jordan Tappis, Sam Donovan, Caroline Baron, Richard Schwartz, Nicholas Weinstock, Adam Scott, and Patricia Arquette rounding out the team.
